HOGE ALPEN en de MONT BLANC
Chamonix, high in the heart of the French Alps. A picturesque little town at the foot of Mont Blanc, which plays host to visitors and natives alike, clad in active wear ready for their next adventure. The summer months attract mountaineers from all over the world with their sights set on reaching the summit.
We're crazy about Mont Blanc, the matchless surroundings are straight from a postcard, with snow-topped peaks and lush green valleys. We travel in Spring for the most reliable climate, with its moderate dry temperatures it's the perfect time to explore.
We will stay in a traditional mountain chalet in the outskirts of Chamonix. Breakfast and dinner are included, so after a day of hiking you will come back and join us at the table for a hearty meal.
Highlights include a guided glacier hike on Mer du Glace and a visit to Aiguille du Midi to soak in some of the best views of Mont Blanc and the Alps, There are numerous optional activities on the trip; many of the hikes start from the end of our street, we can contact a local guide on your behalf for a via ferrata, or if you fancy an adrenaline rush paragliding is available nearby.
Needless to say, there is a huge amount of excitement to be had in Chamonix, with adventures suitable for a range of thrill-seeking appetites, we strongly advise a solid base level of fitness to get the most out of the trip.
